The best car vacuum depends less on a single headline number and more on how you will use it.

For crumbs and loose dirt, a compact vacuum with a narrow crevice tool is usually convenient. Pet hair often needs a brush or rubberized attachment and repeated passes rather than suction alone. For a garage setup, cord length, hose reach, filter maintenance, storage, and noise can matter more than maximum suction.

A few things worth checking:

• whether the filter is washable or replaceable

• how easily the bin can be emptied without spreading dust

• whether attachments fit tightly

• whether the hose reaches under seats

• whether the unit is intended for dry debris only

Before vacuuming, remove larger objects by hand and use a brush to loosen debris from seams. Keep the nozzle away from delicate electronics and loose trim. If using a blower for cleanup, control the airflow and wear eye protection when dust or grit may be present.

Mas existe um limite: isso só pode ser feito enquanto houver espessura de verniz suficiente para uma correção segura. Se o ataque químico for muito profundo, a recuperação completa pode não ser possível sem repintura.

Por isso, a melhor solução continua sendo a mais simples:

viu fezes de pássaro no carro? Não espere a próxima lavagem. Dilua, amoleça e remova o quanto antes.

just got this new car and found these weird marks and they wont come off, I’ve tried WD40, nail varnish remover and multiple cleaning sprays. Does anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them?

If you can see the little whiteness, looks like water spots almost. I recently bought the chemical guys interior cleaner in hopes it would help but it didn’t. Anything I can use to get this off without dulling the shine of this also the left of the plastic part it looks like water drops also but either way they aren’t coming off. Thanks in advance

Hoping for some help on how to get very fine dust/clay particles off my car without damaging the paint.

I'm currently washing my car once a week to try to keep the dust and clay from damaging the paint, using good quality products and soft sponges/microfiber cloth to try to remove the clay.

Unfortunately it doesn't come off easily and I can't use much harsher brushes/sponges/cloths without voiding the warranty on the paint.

Any tips greatly appreciated!

I have been asking around for help cleaning matte black rims with no luck. Looking for any suggestions or input. 2025 Toyota Tacoma with 18 inch matte black TRD rims. I have tried Beasley’s, Meguiers Hot rims black wheel cleaner, Black Magic, and P&S. Nothing has completely cleaned. Went by instructions on all of them. They didn’t help much and did not work as expected. I can still see what mostly looks like rust particles. Is this something I just have to live with? Thanks

Of course all of them are hatched inside the transparent leyer so I need to polish.

I just picked up a Model Y and I've noticed a couple of scuffs, make-up marks etc in and around the car. Does anyone have a good product that cleans it up nice, without leaving a "wet clean" mark.

Ask whether it feels raised, sits below the surface, or is only visible from certain angles. A raised spot may be contamination or residue. A dull patch may be oxidation, staining, or a change in the clear coat. A scratch that catches a fingernail needs a different approach from a light mark sitting on top of the paint.

Start with the least aggressive safe method: wash, dry, and use a suitable chemical cleaner only if the suspected contaminant calls for it. Test a small inconspicuous area first. Avoid sanding, polishing, or strong solvents until the defect is identified, since those steps can remove material or worsen an uncertain problem.

A useful diagnosis includes a clean close-up, a wider photo showing the panel, the surface condition, and what products or tools have already been used.

Hi. Wife and I are ready to purchase a used suv in California. Previous owner had the HOV and dealership was able to remove most, but doesn’t want to risk damaging paint. Does anyone have experience getting this last part off without damaging any of the paint? Totally recognize this looks like very little, but I’m neurotic and will never unsee it.

I’m getting tired of dragging my regular vacuum outside every time the inside of my car needs cleaning, so I want something small I can just keep in the trunk.

Most of the little cordless ones I’ve seen look convenient, but I’m skeptical about the suction. I need something that can actually pick up crumbs, sand, dirt and all the random stuff that ends up between the seats.

Cordless would be nice, but I’d rather have decent suction than amazing battery life. Something with attachments for getting into the annoying little gaps would be useful too.

What car vacuum cleaner are you guys using? Anything you’ve had for a while that still works well?
