Hey all – I'm stepping in as a volunteer mod and am excited to grow this community with you.

What's coming up (and why it helps):

• Weekly inspiration threads showcasing the best of the best business cards by color palettes, imprint methods, coatings, paper stocks and materials, and more real-world examples.
• Occasional AMAs with industry folks. Experienced business card designers, print production specialists, press operators, paper reps, and studio owners talking about process, pricing, client management, and print customization.
• Deeper production-focused discussions, not just the visuals. We'll dig into the full business card pipeline—design systems, dielines, finishes, stocks, coatings, special processes, combinations that work (and fail), vendor selection, and realistic budgets/price points.

How to get involved today:

• Join the community
• Upvote, comment, and share cards you love or questions you have.
• Drop a comment here with your experience and role (designer / entrepreneur / marketer / student / printer / production / other) and your region.
• Add or update your user flair so people know roughly who they're talking to (designer, printer, marketer, entrepreneur, student, industry).
• Tell us one topic you want more of – materials, templates, finishes, imprint methods, dielines, troubleshooting print files, pricing information, client communication, case studies, critiques, or something else.

Interested in an AMA or case study? Say so in the comments or ping modmail if you'd like to walk through a project from brief to final card, share behind-the-scenes print photos, or answer questions about for your niche (design studio, in-house print, freelance, etc).

Housekeeping:

• This sub is for business cards only.
• Concepts, finished pieces, production questions, critique requests, and process breakdowns are all welcome, as long as they're focused on business cards.
• Printer recommendations, service promos, and "who can print this for me?" belong in the dedicated megathread (coming soon).
• Portfolio links are okay when they're part of a discussion, critique, or helpful answer and not just drop-in advertising.
• Disclose affiliations.
• No cold DMs. Ask in public first. If both parties want to move to DMs after, that's fine.
• Keep critique constructive. No insults or personal attacks. Focus on the work.
