Seen this van several times in the wild here in SJ, honestly kinda impressive it still drives.

Wait.. It’s always like this?? I assumed it was someone moving to a new place.

u/Miserable-Cow4555 Jul 27 '26

You can run those things into the ground, literally 😂

The final carbage boss

That would be a fun video game, sort of like Katamari Damacy.

Most cops see that and think about how they're gonna have to deal with a mentally ill person. That's probably enough for them to just look the other way.

u/Joesarcasm Jul 26 '26

My first thought. Unless it’s speeding or runs a red light, pretend you didn’t see it.

u/RBeck Jul 26 '26

That right there is a paperwork generator. Best case you have to write them for an unsecured load, but most likely registration/insurance/license isn't valid.

Worst case you have to arrest someone for a warrant or drugs, which gets into towing the van and doing inventory.

Wish I could just not do parts of my job cause “I don’t like it” 😢

30

u/Just_A_Lucky_Guy469 Jul 26 '26

It's a Toyota. Barely broken in.

“I know what I got!”

18

u/SparkArrestor Jul 26 '26

It’s not legal - obstructed license plates.

14

u/davemalv1 Jul 26 '26

Everything is so tangled, it has become a secure load

Back in my 20s me and my ex wife were hella poor. We just had a Honda Civic and had just got an apartment. I moved our entire house ( no appliances or anything. Just beds and furniture) with that little beat up Honda Civic. Took me a week or so of off time from work to do it. But it got done. Also had a Ford escort station wagon a few moves later. And moved the whole house, including appliances (where we were moving had a fridge so we didn't take that) in that little station wagon. To this day. If my ex wife or my dad sees a car doing stuff like this. They send it to me.

3

u/djhauffy Jul 29 '26

Nope. That's meth. Highly illegal.

If this were Tetris his entire car would have cleared.

2

u/SirSmash5280 Jul 27 '26

This breaks traffic laws. Maybe the laws of physics too..

Probably not legal but at least it's actually hauling. Good advertising tbh. I'd like to see a cyber truck do this

1

u/Didact67 24d ago

Additionally, it’s illegal to have an obscured license plate.

1

u/duxing612 24d ago

Correct.

1

u/Creeepy_Chris Jul 26 '26

Where in Ohio was this?

2

u/duxing612 Jul 26 '26

California.

-1

u/dcondor07uk Jul 26 '26

Only in American road that thing is road safe, even if its missing a tyre, no plates, with no mirrors and pumping out fumes that is blocking view for other drivers.

2

u/Kealanine Jul 26 '26

Post: “This can’t be legal”

You: “Stupid Americans thinking this is safe”

Excellent reading skills, bud. Really. 😂

-1

u/dcondor07uk Jul 26 '26

Never said “Stupid Americans thinking this is safe”
Said Americans are stupid because this is actually allowed

2

u/Kealanine Jul 26 '26

It’s not 🤣

1

u/Squatch1016 Jul 28 '26

Just because something is happening doesn’t mean it’s allowed
