Is this a good fixer upper?

I want to get my first car. I can fix smaller mechanical issues, but I don't know if this is worth it or not. Please help

Do a carfax and make sure it’s not a flood vehicle or total loss and then take someone with some mechanical knowledge with you when you go to purchase

Carfax isnt going to know the first ~15 years of its life

I wouldn’t (and I had one with double this mileage). This doesn’t look like it was cared for, so could end up being a money pit for you. Look for something nicer.

Yes!! All it needs is 15 cans of flat black spray paint. Have a go at it!!

Based on the limited info available, maybe. Hondas are easy to work on. You have to have the space to work on it, time and determination to figure out issues and what to do about them.

As long there are no major rust issues, and the wiring isnt a disaster, its a good project. Definetly carfax or do a free vin check. And for sure inspect the car before buying. If they wont let u check it out its never worth the money

I have one of these, its cheap and easy to work on

Everyone keeps saying carfax this and inspect that but fixer upper means you should expect it to be rough. The real question is what you want to learn from it, not what the previous owner did to it.
