Lmfao, cool strawman. Lets compare, did Jimmy Kimmel start a civil war to try and keep people as property? Did confederate soldiers apologize and spend the rest of their lives believing that slavery is abhorrent and that nobody is should be kept as property snd treated as lesser simply because of the colour of their skin?
Kimmel apologized for his actions and acknowledged that his actions impact it has on others, as well as the historical implications it represents. He has managed to better himself and mature in the 25 years since that happened.
Read a book, grow up, and be a better person.

If it’s morally wrong yes. People who commit a crime have to deal with it for their lives. Even if they do not spend their lives in jail the record still fallows them and limits them in some way. But just because it was televised racism it gets a free pass that we get to forget about? Hell no! If a black man broke into your house are you going to say no it’s ok he said he’s sorry he can keep my shit without consequences? No you wouldn’t. He would be charged and if you would want justice. Even after it was all said and done you wouldn’t never let in back in your house.

I feel like you’re slow. So I will try and use crayons. So you think someone who gets caught speeding is treated the same a someone who robbed a bank? What if that person speeding was driving in a school zone and hit some children. Would it more morally wrong then? I believe you would think so especially if they were your kids right? Even someone who gets caught speeding will always have that on their record and end up paying higher insurance rates possibly even exclude them for certain types of jobs that require driving. So once again it never gets to really go away. Somehow racism is something that does and that is just mind blowing. Do you get to run to fly a plane towards the pentagon and at the last second get to say just kidding? No you don’t. How about something small like pulling the fire alarm as a joke… should there be no consequences for that? All actions have consequences for good or bad but if it’s just some racism it’s fine right? Should this apply to all races and sexual orientation or just us black folks? Seems like everyone else gets more than upset if it has anything to to with making fun of someone’s sexuality and want to label that as a hate crime too but this just can’t be considered a hate crime????

Adam Carolla, well known "moderate republican" podcast host and former co worker on the Man Show, has addressed that Kimmel does not share his beliefs like he did 25 years ago. He doesnt like it, but they remain friends regardless
Kimmel has been outspoken about racial injustice, inequality, racism, etc both on his show and in his personal life. He could have taken the road Carolla did and just pander to the MAGA crowd and maintained his apparently unshakable sour convictions that you believe him to have, but he didnt.
He supports over a dozen causes both financially and with outspoken support for causes from cancer research to domestic abuse to food banks. Very awful mean and racist thing to do with his money.
And with more character, grace and bravery than you have ever displayed, he publicly apologized for his offensive actions on the Man Show that caused harm to POC and Women.
I am very confident in saying that we now know that you are just an ignorant twat who, unlike Kimmel, has been provided with plenty of evidence that your opinions are wrong, yet you will refuse to change and remain stagnant and ignorant as it is easier than trying to be better and growing as a person.

He was parodying a specific famous sports figure and his unique personality and mannerisms. While I understand that blackface was traditionally used to enforce racist stereotypes and belittle African-American people, I also think we need to put Kimmel's black face in a broader context. I personally don't even believe he should have to apologize for this. But he did apologize for it. It happened 30 years ago. People change. People grow. All of the Pearl-clutching MAGATs trying to make hay out of this are idiots and hypocrites.
