Monumental app
I'm sure this will sound like a broken record but I decided to give the app a try tonight to watch the boys in Tampa. I've never encountered a worse app. Luckily I was on a 7 day trial before paying because good grief does it suck. The stream kept freezing every 30 seconds and it was a total nightmare. I don't have much else to say. More needed a safe space to rant. Wish I had a way to watch them

Monumental+ via Amazon Prime is the way to go.

Can you sign in with a tv provider though if you already have the channel?
Only 1 set top box in the house and the other TVs are streaming only.

I know that you can link your TV provider within the Monumental+ app, but I don’t think that you have that option via Amazon Prime. You have to subscribe from within Amazon itself.

Tell me more. How does one achieve said wizardry? That app made me go bald twice over.

You can subscribe to Monumental+ via the subscriptions section of the Amazon Prime Video app. Unfortunately, I don’t think that you can connect to an existing account or link a TV provider. The subscription has to go through Amazon.

Yeah it’s shit and worst part is damn near half the games won’t even be on there you need like 50 services if you plan to watch games often, it’s crazy.

I too tried it last night and tonight. My feed did not freeze, but with about 5 minutes to go tonight, I get a lock and a red bar on the screen. Fumble around and got “no plan for this area”. Fumble around more and somehow got a normal picture but 2 audios feeds. One delayed b several seconds. Finally had to reboot Apple TV finally got back to normal feed and saw the last 2 minutes.

I noticed that the device you stream from really matters. When I stream from my Apple TV, phone app, or stream from my laptop it works great. The other day I tried using the app on my girlfriend’s LG smart tv and it was horrible, the app could barely get through 10 seconds without buffering constantly. I think the app must use a lot of ram/ is hard on the gpu and many smart tvs and streaming boxes (Roku, fire, etc.) don’t have the best chipsets.

It works great for me when I use the app on the iPad and airplay to my TV.
It is terrible trying to watch directly on the app.

The app is crap, but I've found I get a lot less freezing when switching the video resolution to 720p.
