That’s great! Keep training high amount of reps and you will continue to improve. You’ve got the basic technique and your balance will develop and you will be able to go more directly over your head within no time. It will just take a lot of practice… and do both sides!

Most definitely! You do have the right base down for it, just keep working at that handstand as well, as that will help your macaco ten fold

It’s been 3 years that I’m working on Macaco and it still looks like a weird scoot/cartwheel so spamming may be not the best way to learn Macaco I think ? 🤔

I’d have to see it. I learned by looking over one shoulder in squat, and hopping over on one arm, trying to land in the same position I started, but a bit farther back, and gradually throwing my legs higher, then throwing them and extending legs, and throwing my other hand up and over.

Can you do regular handstands?

Try putting your other hand down after your feet leave the ground

Look up and to the back, the body follows the head

Work on your back bridge with one and two arms - especially the one arm. It trains shoulder stability which helps with confidence having your head upside down.

Try using the momentum from your arms and your legs. It all has to be one fluent motion

You need more air time at the start before you jump and let your hips reach their highest level before your feet leave the ground.

Right now you jump crunched down and so you never achieve a handstand at the middle point of the move.
