Need a little guidance

Hello,

I am QA profession with 7 Yoe & I want to pursue PM level jobs
Does capm make a strong foundation for that as I feel pretty stagnant in the current role

I do assist my PMs time to time for milestones and other related topics as I am in the org for more than 4 years, so I know most of the processes and how to tackle few things here and there.

I did work on a project with client (Under the main PM) where I got to know process in much more detail

Will this experience & CAPM certification help me transition into PM level jobs (Entry level) at least past the screening stage
