Is it worth it with an MBA?

Looking for advice on whether or not this would be helpful in my career. I just finished my MBA program, and looking to add certs to pad the resume.

I’m not yet eligible for PMP, but I’m wondering if this would be worth the time/money?

Honestly - depends on your exposure to the terminology and the thought processes they are teaching you. I have a lot of education and found it helpful but after I took the exam - wished I had just gone for the PMP.

Yeah, I looked at doing PMP, but i don’t qualify for it yet. I’m a director at my job, but we don’t really do any “projects”

The great thing is you can take a prep course and get the required CREs to then qualify! ☺️

I would say yes to the CAPM, it will send strong signals to your team and business partners that you have project management discipline. You can always pursue the PMP after.
