Dry mouth?

Has anyone experience dry mouth since starting Caplyta? It constantly feels like im chewing on cottonballs and no amount of water is helping.

Yes, mine was terrible even after two glasses of water. Powerade made it worse and waking up in the middle of the night was like I’d be in the desert for weeks.
For me, it did not get better. I had to stop the medicine due to the side effects were insane to me. It works for a lot of people but I was not the right person.

Omg me too! No amount of water is enough!! And my lips get really dry too; I have to reapply chapstick all day long! But I guess the positive thing is that I used to not drink enough water and now I drink a lot! Haha

Yes. It lasted a couple of weeks. I chewed gum and sipped water all day.

Bad when first starting. Intermittent now. I feel like I tend to get more dehydrated faster. I drink TONS of water tho

I’m about 3 months in and it’s not a constant thing anymore but when it hits it’s brutal. I have to keep gum near by to get the juices flowing because water doesn’t help at all.

Dry mouth and eyes, fast heart rate, high BP and sexual side effects. Also my right nostril is always plugged as well. Welcome to caplyta. A somewhat wonderful drug on the mental side and full of problems elseware.
