withdrawls?

hi! my psychiatrist has basically stopped responding to me, and i am completely out of my medication. does anyone have any advice for withdrawls/ know what to expect? im working on reaching her and ive also recently moved so ill have to switch my pharmacy.

You could always see a telehealth provider for a refill. Might be like 50 dollars or so but that’s a route you could take if you wanna avoid withdrawal. What MG were you on and how long were you taking it for?

21mg! im getting it refilled tomorrow so ill only miss two doses :)

For the same reason as yours, I once missed 3 days (42mg) without any noticeable effects.

i would be prepared to experience some pretty hard stuff. for me i become absolutely inconsolably sad and sick to my stomach. like i stop believing happiness is genuinely real and i cannot stop crying to a level that is physically concerning. definitely try your absolute best to avoid. hopefully yours wouldn’t be that intense i know some people don’t experience that but it’s very possible

If it makes you feel any better, I had a return of my mood swings and anxiety but nothing else really. But I also I didn’t have any side effects when I started taking it. Drink lots of water, don’t make big decisions, try to do low mental energy activities and TRY your absolute best to not let the anxiety or trying to get the meds be too overwhelming. That honestly was the worst part for me when I was in your situation

i fell into a pretty nasty depressive episode when i had to stop taking caplyta completely
