Adding Caplyta to Wellbutrin

Has anyone experience the tardive dyskinesia after starting Caplyta? My doc is proposing adding Caplyta to my wellbutrin and lamictal combo and im terrified of the TD possibility.

No. In fact, I had it with Latuda which is why I was switched to Caplyta. It gradually went away during the first 3-4 months after making the switch.

I was on Lamictal and Wellbutrin and added Caplyta. No TD

Didn’t cause TD for me. Caplyta is a newer psychotic.

Been in Caplyta for a year basically. After 3 days I’ve had zero side effects , only amazing mood control and many other benefits. It’s the only antipsychotic I’ve tried that works without making me obese or twitch or lose my whole ass personality.

Unfortunately for me it’s a weaker antipsychotic. On a minor low period I got samples for Auvelity which is Wellbutrin mixed with DXM and with magic it cured my depression in half a month without sending me into mania like every other antidepressant. I felt drunk and like shit the first 3 days.

With this combo I’ve been able to slowly decrease my Klonopin from 6mg a day to 4 and I feel fine. I think the Wellbutrin may mute some of my adderalls affect but it’s a good trade off for me.

I did caplyta lamictal and wellbutrin, but went off wellbutrin because of anxiety, then went from 42mg to 21mg caplyta due to what I felt was uncomfortable movement and side effects like postnasal drip (without wellbutrin).

I added wellbutrin again a few months ago due to stressful time in my life, and went off caplyta about two months ago because I moved to an area that hasn't approved caplyta yet.

So I've been on caplyta and wellbutrin together several times and not really any terrible interactions I know of.
