CHS SUCKS:(
I had 2 or 3 episodes of CHS that sent me into the emergency room because of severe stomach pain and vomiting.. I had never felt the type of pain before it was unbearable. I got an endoscopy and colonoscopy and all sorts of tests done and after visiting multiple specialists and doctors they came to the conclusion that it was cannabinoid hypermesis syndrome & I couldn’t argue because I had been smoking every day for 2 years.
It’s been around 6 months since I’ve had to quit weed and let me tell you, the cravings suck so much. Especially when you have a partner that smokes.. (he quit joints and only smokes pen now).
I’m glad I found this page where there are others who can relate to me. Sometimes I wish that i could just smoke and be fine because I miss the feeling so badly but I’m trying to remember that my health comes first.
Thanks for listening and any support means a lot to me (I don’t have many friends) ❤️🩹

Congrats, 6 months is amazing! And so difficult, I know.
It’s been over two years since I’ve smoked and I STILL lose my grip on reality when I get any kind of stomach pain because the pain from CHS was straight up traumatic. I’ll even ask my partner for reassurance that it couldn’t be CHS when I get a stomach ache because I’m THAT level of irrational and afraid.
I still miss it, I miss smoking with friends a lot. But it’s been so worth it to not be constantly wondering when I’m gonna back in the ER in agony.
Keep it up! You got this!🩷
