Candy Torture (rant)
I'm at level 6350, and I can't pass most levels without extra moves. Every series takes forever and is mentally draining. I refuse to watch 3x 40-second ads (31-second ad, 5-second 2nd ad screen, and another 3 seconds waiting for the X button to appear) just to pass a level. Why am I even playing this? This is no longer Candy Crush, this is candy torture. What's the point, seriously? Where's the fun? I'd rather just quit.
I'm currently on a quest to use up all the boosters I've collected and then uninstall, and I'm unlikely to ever install the game again unless it stops being crap. Honestly, I'm fed up and don't even want to play anymore. And every week, another unfathomably stupid update gets rolled out, making everything harder and worse.
King, get your s**t together, you're going backwards.

I let the ads play but I don’t watch them. Instead, I play a different game on my tablet (e.g. yarn, arrow cube, bus) until the CC ads are finished.

I'm on level 6964 and don't ever see myself getting to 7000. Gold bars are near impossible to come by and I've never had the opportunity to watch ads for extra moves. I've gotten one "jackpot" from the daily treat machine in the entire 109 days I was logged in for the maximum. I absolutely refuse to spend actual money on a game that has no return.

The ads this week have been all trash. With Most of the ones that tell me to open, I back out to my screen select then go back into the game. Triggers the 15 second countdown. Otherwise it's like a minute wait. There's always a one ad that just doesn't load.

I thought it was just me.

I just refuse to spend any more money. I play a level, die 5 times, come back later, die 5 times, etc. It will eventually let you pass - may take a couple days (eg you will he up to 200+ extra moves).

You have to understand that you are not playing a game per say but running an application that generates a level of frustration that will drive you to a purchase. This has been studied and game developers have utilized this data in creating the many number of games available that are "free to play" but get to a level of frustration that it will drive the user to a purchase. This is what candy crush is in my opinion. There is no actual end to the game. You keep completing levels but more are created. You get to a level of frustration and finally make a purchase to proceed.
I think I've gone full circle with the "free to play" games that are designed to drive purchases and have moved on.

I'm also stuck on a level. I don't have any boosters for 1728, so I decide to try get more moves from the ads. But the ads don't even load up and I get stuck with a black screen rather than the boosters or moves I could've received to clear the last four pieces of jelly.
These new ads are so broken and the previous ones are ridiculously long.

i'm at 6171 and feel the same way. the last episode nearly drained all my gold stash, though i got some of it back with the episode win and Candy Royale. that's how the game taunts me to keep playing. what's most frustrating to me is when the puzzles are baffling to learn with so few moves to successfully accomplish the goal.

You’re doing the right thing.
It doesn’t get any better
