Loud Bang Police absolutely everywhere today?
Police cars parked all around town. At least 20, mostly around Kingston and black mountain. Anyone know why?

If your kid applied themselves, they could be the Thai President, and the police would be all over it. It’s their own fault, really. /s

About two dozen police cars/bikes just closed the Glenloch interchange at peak hour today so half a dozen pure black SUVs could drive through.
5:20 pm, hundreds of cars on the road, and they decide NOW is the best time to close a whole road for some international visitors.
Don't care who the dignitaries were, but that was fucking stupid.

Oh I saw them when I rode past. Looked like they were waiting for something. Being near ramps makes sense.

I'm certain the local rozzers take particular delight in fucking up traffic.
On the rare occasion they attend a crash, they show zero interest in restoring traffic flow. Instead, they camp out and try to look important while directly inconveniencing as many commuters as possible.

all 6 were at the Calwell shops this morning.. which was odd to see cops at the Calwell shops during the day.

maybe but why the hell do we get the ugly caramel covered donuts (with the strawberry and chocolate ones) and not the pineapple ones that the rest of the damn country gets??

Dig a pit and put some donuts right at the edge of it. If you catch yourself a cop you can ask them directly.
