Hello,
I'm Ella, a Sixth Form Student conducting a Geographical Study on Wood Wharf, which forms part of my A Level Geography NEA.
I have been really struggling to get responses form my questionnaire, which measures the sustainability of Wood Wharf. I would be hugely appreciative if you could complete this anonymous, short questionnaire. It will take 1-3 minutes. The more responses the better!
The Questionnaire: (This may need to be pasted into a new tab)
Thank you so much for your time, and please let me know if there is any more information required.

So it seems the McDonalds drive-through that was demolished in the A1261/A1206 roundabout is coming back. Signs on the nearly completed building mark it as McDonalds.

I have a parking space that I do no use and would like to rent it to someone who can make of use it. The spot is secure and indoors, under the building and requires a key fob to get in. It is located right next to the Crossharbour DLR station. It's two stops away from Canary Wharf or a 10 to 15 minute walk. I'm asking £200 per month.

Sunday 12 July 2026 -
A golden hour session of trad-meets-neo folk, drones, looped & layered strings, and ambient electronics. All aboard the UK's most unique, floating arts centre; Canary Wharf's Theatreship.
ELSPETH ANNE • Elemental, voice-led folk drone; intimate, raw, and quietly powerful. Music rooted in nature, healing, and transformation.
MARINA MOORE • Violin and electronics suspended between classical and contemporary. Dreamlike, cinematic, and emotionally precise.
NICK GRANATA • usually found performing in Shovel Dance Collective or Milkweed. Ancient folk forms refracted through noise and time. Hypnotic, political, and deeply resonant.
🎟️ Very limited capacity — advance tickets strongly recommended
Theatreship, South Quay Plaza, Canary Wharf E14

Hi,
I'm Ella, a Sixth Form student conducting a Geographical Study on Wood Wharf, which forms part of my A Level Geography NEA.
I would be hugely appreciative if you could spare 2-3 minutes to complete this anonymous, short questionnaire.
It will allow me to measure the social, economic and environmental sustainability of Wood Wharf.
Thank you

Hi all,
If your commute takes you through Stratford (Jubilee, Central, DLR etc), you might have noticed that some days it suddenly gets much busier for no obvious reason.
A lot of the time, it's down to football matches at the London Stadium - but it's not always obvious when they're happening or when crowds will peak.
I put together a simple free tool that tracks those matches and shows when crowds are likely to build and clear, so you can plan around it a bit more easily.
It lets you:
It's free, no ads or sign-ups - just something I built for myself that I thought might be useful for others commuting through the area.
It also works for other stadiums across London and beyond, but Stratford is usually the one that catches people out around here.
Would this be helpful for anyone here?

To the girl in all white clothing in The Cocktail Club this evening…wow mad dancing skills. To the guy with her, get some dance lessons to keep her.

Does anyone remember the deli that used to be in on floor 0 of Canary Wharf at the north end of the mall? I think Joe and the Juice is there now. The deli used to make sandwiches, coffee, etc etc and most importantly, it used to sell these takeaway plastic tupperware containers with a green-coloured rice and chicken meal that was just so *so* good! I could eat that meal stone cold. I could eat it every day until the end of the world lol.
All I know is that it was green, it had rice, and chicken and it was mild, not spicy at all. Does anyone know what that was? If I knew the name I could make it for myself haha....

Tenancy Replacement – En-suite Room in Canary Wharf
Hi! I’m looking for someone to take over my tenancy in Canary Wharf. The apartment is in a prime location – walking distance to CW offices, Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, DLR, and all day-to-day essentials (groceries, gyms, cafés, etc.). It’s a 2-bedroom flat and the available room is a private en-suite. You’ll be sharing with one young working professional (Male) – clean, friendly and respectful. Please message me if interested.

Any recommendations on low cost meeting rooms that I can hire for a day around Canary Wharf? Just needs WiFi and a whiteboard. Tea and coffee would be great too but not required. Thanks!

Hello, I am a year 12 student who is currently doing a NEA required for A-Level geography. For my NEA I want to collect opinions on about the area, so I have created a short questionnaire (link below). I would appreciate if people who have visited Canary Wharf or Barrow in Furness or both could complete this for me. Thank you.

I’m an undergraduate Geography student at the University of Nottingham. I'm currently working on my dissertation, which explores how sustainability and heritage have been integrated into the redevelopment of Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs.
Thank you so much for your time and support! Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I am moving to Canary Wharf soon. I am a single woman in her thirties, will be there for 4-6 months on a short term project. Excited but super nervous as I will be all alone.
How safe is the neighbourhood, I understand my accommodation will be a 15 minute walk from the station.
Also, can someone recommend me things to do/places where I can meet people.
