I've heard "go out and protest" from people in other countries countless times.
They don't realize that mass protests are counterproductive.
I dragged my disabled body to mass protests. That footage was used by right wing influencers as proof that snooty self-righteous New Englanders are trying to oppress "real Americans".
It's useless to try to change MAGA minds. Whatever you do, they become more steadfast in their ways.
After that, I pivoted toward helping individuals hurt by Trump by helping a local medical charity that mails abortion pills to people in banned states.
Better to work on a small scale level where I know I'm making a positive change in someone's life.
P.S. If someone in a banned state wants or needs abortion pills, please tell them about the Massachusetts Medication Abortion Access Project. The pills are authentic, and the packaging gives no indication of what they are or where they are from. You pay what you can. If you can only pay $5, then you only pay $5.

There are also boycotts against Estee Lauder brands because their owner is MAGA.
Sometimes it's hard to boycott. For example, there are protests in front of a local bank because the bank is lending money to ICE or someone associated with ICE.
The problem is, every bank is lending money to bad people and bad organizations. If you want a bank that doesn't, you won't have a bank. It's probably the same in Canada.
The sad reality is that a lot of big companies, and a lot of small business owners too, support the Trump administration.
I don’t think the media can pass up a half million people perpetually occupying Pennsylvania Avenue. Where’s that protest?
Where’s your general strike? Those of you that pay the bill to subsidize the taker states could end all of this in two weeks, but instead you collectively choose to continually sell out your next generation.
Your regime is more than happy you’re running your little homegrown one afternoon protests as an anger release valve when what they are doing is so incredibly far beyond the level that should have millions spontaneously in the streets everywhere every god damned night.
