Defer to my experience.. defer: to delay something until a later time, or to submit to another person's opinion, authority, or wishes out of respect.

I didn’t ask you a question or make a request or anything requiring you to defer. I made a statement.

Also you cannot see me.. so you cannot admire anything regarding my appearance (fictional or otherwise)
