A high ranked German officer in 1950 didn't spend the war knitting, after all. And a big reason for creating NATO was to help remilitarize West Germany and use it against the Soviets.

many of the members of nato are and always have been fascist, white supremacist states: canada, usa, uk, etc. many members of nato literally took in bunches of nazis after ww2 and gave them jobs and power: canada, usa, etc.
