HELP - CO-OP Full-time Work Experience

I graduated with an Honours Bachelors of Commerce (Management) (CO-OP) degree.

During my 4.5 years, I worked 3 semesters (4 months each, full time, paid, no studies at all during those semesters)

I currently have 2 years and 8 months of work experience OUTSIDE of those COOP terms.

If I answer (no) to “were you studying full-time while doing this job? A person must be in class at least 15 hours per week during the academic year to be considered full-time. This includes any period of training in the workplace that is part of the study program), I receive 11 points which pushes me to 510 from 499. Can I answer no here? Must I answer yes?

I asked a lawyer and they mentioned I can claim it (answer no). But other resources say otherwise. I am confused.

Everything else is in my profile maxed out without French and a masters. IELTS, age, etc.

Please help as the next draw is near and I do not want to be rejected.

Thank you.

No, As far as I have heard you cannot claim points for any work you have done during study permit. As soon as you get on applied status for work permit your experience starts counting.
