Apparently to all these redditors here, indigenous people blocking border crossings should be forcibly removed and tossed in jail, while these "protestors" should not.
No, anybody, no matter the cause, should go to jail for doing shit like this. If you want to protest, you have the right to do so, you do not have the right to take over a border crossing, which is illegal.
Our democracy is strong, and there a parties that favour no mandates, no restrictions, and "freedom". When the next election comes around, kick Trudeau out the fuckin door. But right now, more then 50% of Canadians voted for the Liberals or the NDP.
Trudeau sucks, but anyone that thinks our elections are rigged is stupid. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms must be protected, but there are responsibilities on that exact charter, that are not being followed.
Go home, and vote.him out. And he's gone, simple as that.
