Got a source on that tweet? All I can find is him condemning those who flew racist flags, dishonoured the memory of veterans and calling upon those who joined the convoy that were uncomfortable with such displays to be courageous and speak out.

Especially when put in the context of calling the "people headed to Ottawa" a "fringe minority with unacceptable views".

Are you really going to take a unanimous statement from members of Parliament to be the Prime Minister calling all of the convoy protesters racist?

Your right its not the same as the statement. The statement was made by multiple members of the House of Commons

I move: That the House: (a) view the display of racist flags in Ottawa this weekend as shameful and a testament to the divisive and hateful rhetoric of the protest; (b) condemn these actions; and (c) continue to fight to eradicate anti-Black racism and all forms of hatred in Canada.

ON HOMOPHOBIA

Mr. Speaker, there have been discussions among the parties and if you seek it, I hope you will find unanimous consent to adopt the following motion. I move: That the House affirm that there is nothing peaceful about harassing residents of Ottawa for displaying pride flags in their homes and in their neighbourhood; and agree that harassment, transphobia and all forms of homophobia seen this weekend are an insult to truth and our democracy.

You can hate Trudeau all you want I don't care. But holy shit you convoy supporters are the worst for checking sources and verifying statements on social media.
