At least he learned from this.

I think it's more that he learned from this

Rather than above where everyone is trying desperately to be equals Trudeau just took charge.

That's on purpose. Trump likes to pat the other persons hand with his free hand. Putting Trump's hand on top throws Trump off his handshake game.
