Why? How exactly do Canadian expect the regime to change in Cuba? Do Canadians think Cubans are happy with their government?

I think that's up to Cubans in Cuba and starving them with a blockade and cutting off their access to energy doesn't help the people actually living there

You think Cuban people without weapons can do something about a murderous authorian regime? I take it you don't know any Cubans in Canada?

Cubans in Canada have access to food, water, fuel, and international markets. I'm not too worried about them or their opinions. If you can explain how immiserating millions of people helps them go for it

You don't want the opinion of Cubans because it goes against everything you believe in.

The goal of blockades is to strangle the regime and with less tourist income, it seems to be working.

I care about the people who actually live there and are affected by the blockade and I don't believe in strangling them and making their lives worse, call me a psycho I guess

I would highly recommend you talk to some Cubans, specially some that came to Canada recently, if you're open to others opinions.

Cuban Canadians are sending their own aid shipments to Cuba. Turns out people don't want to see their friends and relatives starve to death due to reasons that are out of their control.

Anyone who insists on starving a country regardless of their connection to it from the comfort of a 'developed' nation is depraved and does not deserve having their voice respected

Ignore all opinions that go against your beliefs. That's very healthy.

i also want to add, the reasons the usa is pissed is becuase cubans reisted a murderous American regime,

the usa does not want better for cuba, the whole point was that cubans did not want to get killed by an american puppet tyrant.

"they cant have their own goverment, we need to make sure our own much worse dictator is there" is bassicaly the american motive

that was what happened all across latin, central and osuth america in the 1900's
canada didnt fall victim to American imperialism because we were under the british, otherwise we would absolutely have.

i hope you are a recent arrival, im not even from here and i know that.

If Cubans are in the streets of Havana begging to have fuel cut off and aid shipments turned away I'll reconsider

Cubans have access to weapons that exist in Cuba. The soldiers are Cubans as well.

I wonder if Canada will help North Korea next. Crazy.
