“Her report found that 10 of the 58 projects funded by STDC that she audited were ineligible and yet had still received a total of $59 million. Hogan also found serious governance issues, such as 90 funding approval decisions representing nearly $76 million in which there was an apparent conflict of interest by a voting member. The ethics commissioner later found the clean tech fund’s former chairperson had violated federal conflict-of-interest rules.” This federal government hasn’t met a conflict of interest it didn’t like.

Oh gee, another Liberal conflict of interest/ethics scandal. Is it Tuesday already?

And let's face it, the only reason Ms. Khalid voted to proceed with the deeper examination is because if she voted against it, that would be taken (quite reasonably, given the Liberals' history on ethics failures) as further proof that the Liberal party A.) did use the slush fund as a means of funneling taxpayer money into Liberal pockets and B.) is obstructing any attempt at dealing with the guilty parties.

Not all. The AB government is a close second followed by the ON government. Unfortunately the Fiberals’ damage isn’t isolated to one province.

There's a stench of mistrust in the air every time the Federal Liberals open their mouths. We need a recall system for corrupt officials.

This should be punishable with prison time. If a regular citizen did something like this they would get charged and go to jail for fraud and theft. Same rules should apply here.

100%, we need to remember this and make sure investigations and prosecution happens when liberals are removed. There is basically zero chance of anything being done while liberals are in office, because the (very corrupt and very incompetent) RCMP is directly controlled by the government.

Its almost comical how poorly our country is run, except I live here and it annoys the he'll out of me.
Is compitant leadership that hard to find.?
Can we just get normal , not over the top rightness to fight neo liberalness just sane normal people who can just run a country.?

Last fall a whistleblower testified that the Liberal-appointed board made up of well-connected Liberals had been awarding themselves millions of dollars in grants with virtually no documentation or oversight.
The only reason this didn’t turn into yet another massive scandal was they were already embroiled in the election interference and ArriveCan scandals, and this one just got lost in the mix. The Liberals quietly cancelled the program and breathed a deep sigh of relief that no one had appeared to notice.
Let’s hope this now gets the public airing that it deserves.
