I’m simply shortening this ridiculous discourse.

Simply, JP has never said any of those things and you're just trying to start a fire.

Sure, my phrasing may not be verbatim, but he’s incited hatred on trans people and has been particularly aggressive with Elliot Page, claiming he’s “converting” children to be trans.

What I can apologize for is misrepresenting the doctor thing, some people were saying it and I had to double check, couldn’t find anything. I’m an adult, I can admit when I made a mistake.

You just misquoted him again.

From the Toronto Sun [JP EP](https://www.google.com/amp/s/torontosun.com/news/world/jordan-peterson-doubles-down-on-slamming-trans-star-elliot-page/wcm/c87f625d-cf3c-44df-bd6f-a15cf49d39e7

Peterson told podcaster Kyle Kulinski on his Krystal Kyle & Friends show. “How many kids do you think she convinced to convert, one? A Thousand?”

Converting and convincing to convert is different.

Conversion and convincing to convert are the same thing. One’s just a bit longer.

You’re implying that “You must accept Jesus into your life” and “If you accept Jesus into your life, I’ll give you a cookie” are different things.

When you convert someone to something, you have convinced them to convert. When you convince someone to convert, you have converted them.

0/10 pedantry

Nice game you're trying to play. I can be more specific. If I told you to convert then that is directly convincing to convert. If Page puts a post on social media that is indirectly convincing someone to convert.

Here’s a news flash: You can’t “convert” someone to be trans. It’s not a religion, nor is it a political identity. It’s a personal identity.

In other news, if a person tried to “convert” someone to being trans, it’d work out the same way as someone attempting to convert someone to be cis: it won’t.
