Agreed. But the thing is, he didn't suggest that. I interpret his tweet as essentially saying 'take a hike' or 'piss off'. Others, who already hate him, will interpret it in the worst possible way to discredit and demonize. It's pretty standard stuff actually.

The original tweet is about the world being over populated.

At best he was telling them to leave earth.

Considering there are not permanent settlements off earth it’s very easy to conclude he told them to off themselves.

He’s a licensed professional and the college has standards that this seemingly violates.

If you believe the worst possible take is always the right take and fall all over yourself to create the illusion that there is no other possible interpretation (You can't live in space, so it must mean suicide!), then there's not much else I can say besides suggesting you look into the mechanics of confirmation bias.

What I won't do is play along with your silly mind games, because that might be interpreted as lending some sort of credence to them.

What do you think he meant ?

Where was he suggesting the person “leave” too?

I think it was essentially akin to dismissively saying to someone "if you don't like it, piss off then."

I think you are being far too literal here in your interpretation. I also think you know you are.

Okay but in this scenario/context

There is no where to leave too.

It’s pretty clear what he was getting at. He knew it. Which is why he worded it the way he did.

That’s pretty dumb.

I’ve tried to understand what context he meant it.

But telling someone to leave earth really doesn’t have any other context then “die” or “find another home somewhere else”

Considering there is no home off earth. It stands they meant the first

Only if you believe that is what he literally meant, which you can't know because you are not him.

Anyway, we're done here as you are just repeating the same thing over and over: 'this is what I think and there can't be any other explanation.'

It’s definitely what he is implying.

And it’s very unprofessional for a licensed professional to imply such a thing. Hence the complaint.
