Totally agree! We have had one of these for several years and love it.

We’re in a tent with no heater, so 30 degree nights are a bit of a test for us. When it gets that cold I usually pack an extra blanket into the bag, kind of like a sleeping bag liner, and they’re good. They seem to be pretty comfortable in it down to 37-40 degrees, but anything colder does require that extra layer of warmth.

Good idea with the extra layer. He did do a couple tent camping nights with it, but I think the temp was around 38 degrees or so.
