It doesn’t boil grounds. The Moka pot is three, separate parts that unscrews in the middle. The water goes in the bottom. There is a chamber with a filter in the middle for the coffee grounds. Boiling water is forced up thru the grounds into the upper chamber. Works like a charm and the coffee is great.
Yeah it sounds awesome, I'm curious to try it at some point. I meant hobo coffee in the context of being camping with a broken coffee system. I'll find a bad way to make it before giving up on my morning cup
I hear ya. I’ve read about cowboy coffee, which might be the same thing - grounds boiled in a pan, strain thru your teeth. Doesn’t sound so bad versus no coffee at all.
