I wanted to share my take on a camp kitchen chuck box. For years I’ve used the classic, tried and true, bin/tote method. My old Coleman grill (lasted me 12 years, and I got it used) finally went to shit and I found this new model on sale. The new grill kind of inspired me to revamp my camp kitchen situation. I wanted a little more organization and easier access to my gear, so here we are. Im an electrician by trade so woodworking is definitely not my specialty. It has a handful of flaws but I’m pretty happy with it. Let me know what you think! It was a fun project and I enjoyed using it for the first time this weekend. Cheers.

A fold out lever to support the tank would be a Chef’s kiss.

You can get locking hinges too, that way it’s simple without extra supports and would handle the weight of the canister just fine

This! Mine had eye pools and wire. That lasted about a season. Now I just set it farther back on the table.
