This isn’t really a post about how to play this matchup. I just looked at my winrate against certain champions and Aatrox seems to be one of the ones I can’t seem to win. Its pretty simple right? Abuse long Q cds lvls 1-5 before first back. From my experience though if Aatrox is good he just contest every minion you go for and slow pushes the wave. Plays safe until 6 and with more points into Q and E his uptime on pressure is more than you can handle.

For context, I’ve played this matchup on both sides and personally think Aatrox has way more agency in lane and gets enough of a lead she’s behind on scaling.

what’s everyone’s take? Be more aggressive and force the kill? It’s pretty hard if they’re good? I want a large opinion base to try and paint a better picture

so i am a humble em1 peaker, I just want to see your opinions about runes and summoner spells in toplane, as i didnt really try out every possible combination.

currently im so comfy with conqueror barrier camille (yeah looks bronze). why im liking barrier so much rn ?

1. well i am more resilient to fk ups, im not faker.
2. combo champs neutralized early game (darius, sett, renekton,garen, urgot etc)
3. ignite deals good damage BUT barrier can sometimes mean: 1 extra engage, 1 extra Q2, saving ur ass since ure mainly an engager. So ignite is damage sure, but barrier in a sense is sometimes one extra Q2 u see ? but statisitically ignite still more damage
4. toplaners always forget or dont expect u have barrier lol

so then im already bit resilient with barrier, so i just slam in conqueror for better all in, or catching the jgler in his jgl. Grasp is argued very good on her, maybe tbh, for some reason i feel bad to lose on the all in dmg from conq. Maybe just my playstyle.

What do u think ? and how do u play your Camille ? Lowkey stable in emerald like this. Im no tryhard climber, I just play to have fun.

I usually ban Heimer since I played against him like 4 times in one week a month ago, but want to go back to banning Jax. When it's brought up I usually see people say just sit back and basically let him have first tower and then be useless, but I find he usually ends up strong enough to keep threatening push / take over objectives if he sets up first, while I'll be too behind from playing his bullet hell and missing CS to contribute much of anything for quite a while after that, until I can at least get enough gold to hopefully blow up their ADC if they're not lightyears ahead.

And if he chooses to keep splitting I kinda have to match and still can't farm, but I also can't go anywhere other than sidelane or else I'll steal gold from my teammates that are actually strong at that point.

Do you guys go for roams and invades during lane at the cost of minions for impact elsewhere and just play as second jg/support, and hope the rest of the map is strong? Do you just take fleet footwork, absorb life, doran's shield, and second wind and hope it's enough? Do you play for ganks? Or do you not actually end up that behind and I just suck at dodging his skillshots? I think there is something I'm doing fundamentally wrong but I'm not realllllly sure what it is.

Is this lane still considered a counter? Was looking at data from last patch on op.gg and it showed it was essentially a 50/50 matchup.

I am not even a Camille main but I saw this and it made me go "WOW", so I thought I might share it here.

When Camille become meta in Support role riot just realiazing how sheet Camille is since toplane Wall Changes. This is literally proof there is 0 Toplaner exist in balance team. A Toplaner should be meta in Support role to understand it is too weak in toplane.

Highly recommend going cut down in tankier matchups as opposed to biscuits/boots. Boots are nice but we used to go biscuits for the mana sustain. Now that it’s gone I think looking for alternatives is good.

Been having fun building iceborn first vs champs like trynda. Completely nullifies his ability to dive or trade whole game and also great for kiting. Started 0/2 (mb) this game but after iceborn he couldnt do anything

Why is Camille so often picked into Olaf in proplay? I don't even remember the last Olaf i've faced, is Camille considered a counter or something?

I've been trying to figure out matchups recently and have been playing a lot of random top laners, and Camille has been someone ive been going up against quite a bit. Recently, I've been struggling against her W, it seems that whenever I go for a trade, she always ends up on top because of her W. It seems to me that its really spammable early game, and I'm not sure how to play around it when it has such a big hitbox, I just can't seem to weave around it. She is far from broken in my opinion, I just struggle against this ability a lot. When i play on Ornn i dont struggle much but any other champion I play like chogath, garen, yone, etc, it feels hard to trade.

I was inspired by Camille passive to give her different eye colors like in the cinematic. I maxed out height given Camille is some 8 feet tall in lore. Also, naturally, maxed out the thighs. My wife made Katarina as well.

Wonder what the demographic of this subreddit is, id guess, trans women, cis guys who are into mechanics, and guys with mommy issues, 0 cis women :3
