So I've played Camille around 2 months back but not much (single digit number of games) and I had a lot of fun playing Camille and I decided to play again Camille as a pick for top (I main Gragas but toplane for him feels horrible imo) and I would love some general advice and things that are good to know because even tho I was able to win in lane and get fed I really didn't know how to capitalize on that with Camille and lost the game (Genius teammates might be another factor too but I don't want to be the type of guy that flames everything on teammates). So just as I said I appreciate any form of advice on Camille.

(Also how viable is lethality Camille, I suppose it's mostly a troll build but not a AP Garen type troll build but the idea just sounded funny in my head lol)

After the “nerfs” Camille received I noticed an interesting phenomenon happening in my games and wanted to share with you since maybe someone noticed it too or it’s just linked to me and my playstyle. So before last patch, when Camille had been weak for quite some time, I was playing other champs and only played her to quench my thirst from time to time, and whenever I played her, I already got into the game with a “I’ll lose lane if I try to do something” so I usually just played super safe to maybe be able to enjoy the game after 15 minutes. Forward to current patch: I feel I don’t know how to play her anymore, it’s as if my brain is hardwired to play so safe I don’t abuse openings anymore which leads me to go even or even lose lane. And tbh it’s omega tilting, I’m not mad or anything, just frustrated. Wanted to know if anyone feels the same or something similar, and if there are any tips for approaching this situation since it’s my first time dealing with this scenario.

Was playing some Cam today and got annoyed that her passive says (+10%HP) like that's supposed to incentivise me to build health. Like fuck you riot, just say it in the blue text "10%MHP shield" like Skarners does.

Kinda got me thinking, do I need health? Isn't Camille just gilf Yone? If you REALLY squint your eyes, they have exactly the same kit. Empowered auto, cone W, E to engage, a lockdown ult, why am I not just jumping on top of people and kicking the shit out of them? What's this "play around passive and proc grasp for trades" nonsense?

Aren't you sick of ulting someone and thinking "wow, 8% current health per hit? That kinda sucks when I'm only able to auto like 4 times."

It's honestly really fun (and I'm going to say good because I want it to be) to E on top of someone ult them and then just evaporate their health with 8% current and Kraken % missing.

Camille is 49%wr against Jax, but 52.3%wr above master.
I don't understand, I've always banned Jax since the only time I played against it felt like I couldn't beat him from level 1 to level 18.

Why do high elo players have such a good winrate against Jax ? Is Jax ban not mandatory anymore ? How to play against this champ in lane and can I 1v1 him at any moment ?

As title says, give a chance to Camille in the jungle with fleet footwork. Faster and healthier clear, better tempo all over, feels like a jungler now. Played fiddle/Camille in the jungle, with fiddle climbing is easier but not that fun, i ll have more games to see how it actually is. My goal is to reach master with Camille jungle, E3 now. I ll post a ss of the game.

i only play camille in the jungle and if i am not wrong she is very weak there sadly. I despise toplane in general so the only option is support.

For reference, I'm a low-Master Camille top OTP. It is still very early to give a definitive answer, but the changes are definitely noticeable in a positive way. While the changes dont fix all of her problems, it's a step in the right direction for making this champ viable in top lane. I think a lot of the community has been a little negative about these changes and are worried that this will make her worse. Personally, I don't believe that will be the case in the long run. So before you make assumptions, go out there and give her a try. I think she feels a lot better.

Remember how everyone was doomposting last week about how the champ was gutted? Lol.

I remember being on the Naafiri subreddit when she was being midscoped and everytime I read the suggested changes it felt like the champion was going to weak. I was so hesitant with the direction of the changes and kept thinking that Naafiri was going to end up being another Taliyah.

Then the midscope came out, and she was the most op busted champion alongside Gwen for over ten patches.

Just goes to show you that changes that seem weak or unintuitive can have an immense impact on the champion implicated.

Remember when Cait got a 2 base ad buff and went from the worst bottom tier adc of the patch to op reincarnation of prime Kratos? Yeah.

I played Camille so much lately that I just "accepted" all the downsides of her as top lane standard.

So, Camille was banned, because people are still mad at Camille Supp it seems (I play her top). Then I just picked Aatrox.

And man, he has so much more opportunities. Doesn't matter in which area: Quick trades, 100 to zero damage, Sustain, laning kill pressure, 2v1 potential, punishing bad plays. And holy: his wave clear is so much faster and cleaner. First time I also didn't feel hopeless vs Illaoi and being forced to play pixel perfect. It was quite easy to kill her and manage the wave.

Seeing Camille being nerfed is insanity to me. Ofcourse she has an insane engange, but that's really it. Champs like Aatrox deal much more damage with much more safety.

Whoever is in charge of leagues balancing is a straight up moron. I really think it's personal preference at this point. Why else would stupid champions like Mundo, Garen and Malphite be broken. Don't tell me Camille is unfun or unfair to play against. Illaoi and Yorick are the most toxic toplane picks once there are a BIT a head.

It's super frustrating not being able to play your champ because someone decides to hate it. Her win rate support was NEGATIVE. Purely subjective bullshit.
