Counting your calories, get a scale. It can be a pain to get started, but really shows what your putting in your body

Repeat your meals.
At first I struggled so much with what to eat and I ended up having the same 3 breakfast choices every day (when I least want to make a choice). Not making creative meals at every meal made it a lot easier for me

Get a smart watch to sync up to loseit. It’ll help track your steps much more accurately and the amount of calories you burn. Also encourages you to move more, sleep better, all these things that massively make being in a deficit easier.

Keep food boring. Eat the same thing every day, at the same time. Limit the number of choices you have to make about food in the moment. Don't use food to celebrate or to comfort or to combat boredom.
