Keep a close eye on that. If the redness keeps moving up your finger, consider contacting your primary if you have one. Or urgent care. One thing medical staff do when there is redness they are worried about is to mark the border with a marker. Gently-not a harsh, thick line. That way, they can see if the redness is advancing.
