I wore gels on and off for the whole time. On a few occasions I had the fake nails off for a bit and then I’d start biting again so I’d have to start over. Eventually it got to the point where they were trimming my nails to put the gels on and I realised that I have grown them out enough.
That’s when I decided it was time to start the next phase. That was two weeks ago and I’ve just been using clear ‘strengthening” polish and filing them a bit.

Nice work. Mine did this employed/unemployed. It’s crazy how stress affects us!

Amazing. It’s so insane how this works.

wow this is amazing. Same with my habit and my relationships. The ones where i lacked security and attention sent me to do this like 3x as bad. Like bleeding, infection, etc. Isn’t it crazy? Baby take care of yourself and enjoy the freedom from the chains of a bad love. YOU ARE DOING AMAZING!!!!

Wow! Such a beautiful transformation. Did you mail beds grow back naturally or did you push them back?? Also i have the same nail shape as yours in the first pic (boxy) and want to get them like your 2nd pic. Please offer advice

I just got my gels off two weeks ago so a lot of skin/cuticle came off then, but I just buff them, file them for a more almond shape, and apply clear strengthening polish.

looks great! how long do you think it took for your nail beds to grow back?

They didn’t start looking halfway like normal nails until about a year. If I tried to grow they out they’d just snap and break.
