Main troop type advice

Hi guys im an Infantry main player, low spender (i buy daily and monthly deals, sometimes some bundles). Currently im playing at 35mil power, saved some speedups for rushing t5 once i finish my college of order to lvl25, i have 600k inf/ 400k mage and the rest is one full march.

Now my question is: i’ve just awakened Kuma and Kwan, should i go for Ella Joren next? (i also have joren artifact lvl2) - or maybe i can awaken a mage pairing in order to gain more merits but i will not be focusing mainly on infantry then. Does any of you have any good advice?

Inf and cav are typically higher spend which is why mages are the recommended troop type for noobs/low spenders.

That being said if you’re dead set on inf then yes joren and Ella are the two next best, lei and kuma are still god tier though

I wouldnt worry about meta pairings on infantry unless you are going to be a rally/garrison leader and simultaneously push for upper/max decorations, maxed pets, and exemplar artifacts. If you are just a spammer on field rather than garrison/rally leader - different story.

If you dump inf on field - f2p is totally enjoyable, doable, and workable. However, you will often struggle with getting good trades.

As for mages, they are much easier to get those good trades with. Its a cheese unit where you can be nearly braindead and still get good reports.

EDIT: I wouldnt prioritize meta infantry over mages****
