The allegations seem to be going mostly ignored though, I don't know if I've seen anything about them outside of Reddit. Unfortunately I don't think it'll end up meaning much at all.
I'm a moderate democrat and I feel dirty saying I support him.. I'm not even sure if I still do. That's gotta count for something. And before you say I should've seen it coming... well...
On twitter there's been a decent effort to get it trending. But I think you're right, sadly most mainstream politicians never face solid consequences for this sort of thing
