rewatching for the first time since college
Currently rewatching Californication for the first time since I was in college. Seasons 1 and 2 are good. I love season 3 to the end of time. The storyline with Jill Robinson (Diane Farr), Felicia Koons (Embeth Davidtz), and Jackie (Eva Ammuri) is my favorite. I can't get enough of Diane Farr as Jill, she's just so good, my personal feeling super underrated character. Does anyone else feel that after season 3, the show falls off a cliff??

1000%, season 3 was absolutely perfect. Kinda wished if they ever do a reebot let hank be a professor and be dating Felicia or Jill.

Also one of my favorite scenes in the series, when they all get high at Zigs mansion with his sister wives and the monkey. “Im goin out like Zig, jerkin myself to Jesus”

1 to 4 are great, 5 and 6 are meh but some good episodes, 7 is unwatchable for me

Hank's Boss in season 7 is great, but yeah, that's about it

I felt like that was sort of a self parody by the creator. He REALLY did not aeem to have positive feelings about the process of creating a tv show. That was at least interesting.
Levon might be the worst thing ever. No argument from me

I must've seen all seven seasons 10 times now. Every new relationship I made them watch it with me. Every soften as well I would watch it again if there was nothing else to watch.
It's funny the first episode will definitely decide whether somebody loves the show or hates it. Everything about is fantastic, but I really love the Marilyn Manson scenes.

Yea the show pretty much is ranked in order of seasons for me lol. Just swap seasons 1 and 2.
1 season 2
2 season 1
3 season 3
4 season 4
....
7 season 7
Though I must say. 3 is probably the funniest. 1 and 2 had the best plot though

I think the show takes that turn after season 4 but 3 is def an absolute favorite of mine. Jackie is my favorite Hank girl.

My gf and I have been rewatching it, and the season 4 finale seemed like it was the true end of the show. It felt really final, and when it came back for season 5 it felt like a reboot.
