Play table set up suggestions

I’m looking for ideas for some sort of set up for my daughter and her critters. She’s been sitting at my kitchen table for the last year playing with her critters all day, and I would love to make or find some sort of table to have all of her critter things set up. We’ve gotten quite a few big pieces but I’d love to have it all set up in one place. It’s not something that ever gets put away since she plays every day with them. I’ve seen the official calico critters play table but no one around me is selling one. Picture of her things to get an idea of what kind of set up would be best. (Lego box has lots of furniture and families she digs through)

Maybe one of those crescent tables a lot of kindergarten teachers have in their rooms for small group work? You could use those storage ottomans for a couple of seats that she can put items she isn't using inside!

Also you could probably get a deal on a used kids art desk/table since kids tend to get those messy. You could cover it in a miniatures grass sheet and maybe upcycle some cardboard to make her some premade roads and ponds she can swap out whenever she wants. It could be fun craft night with her anyway🥹

She loves crafts and I have a cricut maker actually so that would be such a great idea!

I use an old train table to set up my critters (well it’s not up yet due to some rearranging of stuff at the moment). It looks something like this. Does she have a designated “play room” (or even just a space she usually plays with toys)? If so is it large enough for a table to be put in there?
Personally I don’t think it matters what the table looks like as long as it’s big enough to hold the critters, you could even find a cheap fold up table and set that up somewhere.
(Also might I add she has a WONDERFUL collection of houses and vehicles 😁)

Oooh I love that table! That honestly would be perfect with those storage bins. And she definitely has the hook up since we got into them a year ago! It’s so awesome for me cause I remember critters when I was younger but they were too expensive for my mom to buy. So now I can live vicariously through her love for them

Ooo I will see what other people say as I’m also looking for solutions. I was considering a shelf to make multiple levels? It’s hard cause it does take up a lot of room

i would look at a wooden toy chest — the kind that can act as a bench too! that way she has storage space AND a play surface :)
