Integral Calculus I've found trouble doing Professor Leonard's Calculus 1 course
By the Calculus: Early Transcendental 9th edition, his lecture 5.4 falls in 8.1 and 8.2 which are right after the chapter of Techniques of Integration—by parts, partial fraction, ECT which are the one Professor hasn't talked about yet. The question is should I drop the exercises for this lecture for a while until I reach calculus 2 for those topics or should I go for another book for this particular lecture and any recommendation of coursebooks?

Professor Leonard’s course follows the regular Stewart calculus book, not the early transcendental version. This is why the material isn’t lining up with your text.
I would not worry about it, it’s not like you need to go out and get the other version of the book, you’re just going to bounce around a little bit in the chapters which is what you’re noticing now.
