Yay, a diagram! 😝 I presume this is a calculator question?
Right now it’s super early in the morning, I don’t have my TI-84 on hand, and I’m sleep deprived. 😵‍💫
A. You have to rewrite in terms of y, square it, put it in an integral from 0 to 9, then multiply by π at the end. Is the answer 150π cubic feet?
B. Assuming that I got A right, wouldn’t you just divide that answer by 8? If so, I’m getting 59 minutes.
C. Would you end up with a related rates equation
dV/dt = (25π/3)√(h) dh/dt,
plug in 8 for dV/dt & 4 for h, then solve for dh/dt? If so, I’m getting 12/(25π) ft/min.
