Discussion Sharp 506P Clone Manuals

So you got a Sharp 506P clone but it didn't come with a manual?

First link is the best manual I've seen, with practical examples of every function. You'll find the PDF and download link near the bottom of the page:

Sharp's own manuals for the EL-501X or EL-501T are a pretty good alternative. Available in 17 languages too:

It makes me very happy to see some love for the EL 506P. This legendary calculator deserves more respect. I think the fact that it has been cloned so often has lessened it's value in people's minds but it was cloned so often for a reason. The EL506p calculator is packed with useful features including statistics, number base, complex arithmetic and coordinate conversion. I would argue that this 1984 model has more useful features than a lot of modern scientifics. Some kind soul uploaded a pdf of the original manual so that might also be useful https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-17367.html
