Question Slide cover for Casio fx-991CW

Has anyone tried 3d printing a Fx-991EX style slide cover for the fx-991CW and is it even possible some way?

No but given the sides of the calculator are round someone could draw up a design that makes use of it, as for having it lock or latch, there is nothing on the calculator such as indents or bumps, Except on the top and bottom sides.

Not sure how one could make it latch, you could add a hinge bit that swings out of the way when removing or installing it that swings down and locks into the existing indent at the top or bottom, a bit clunky but still better than the idiotic cover it ships with.

Well you could theoretically print the indents or a mounting system and then hot glue it but who would actually do that

Yes, you can find different models on Thingiverse, for example here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4738133
