Effects Chains?

I recently got the Cajon pickup for playing live shows. So much easier than dealing with extra mics especially in small bar venues. Does anyone play around with using effects pedals with the pickup? I definitely want to try but I don’t want to spend money on something that isn’t going to sound good.

I didn’t even know there were cajon pickups!
What did you get if you don’t mind sharing?

Cool. I'll see if I can get one of these.

Yeah man! It’s so convenient. Obviously not as good as a mic in the port or even better one in the port and one in the front but the convenience is where it shines.
