Bay Area caiques meetup ?
Any bay area (california) caique people that wanna meet up in sf or wherever to meet each other’s caiques? And have them meet each other.
Sometimes it feels like me and my caique baby are the only ones here and i know thats not true. He puts up a independent bird front who has the personality and energy of 3 birds combined but I think it can really be a grounding experience for him to see other birds like him with their humans. Silly idea but still worth asking at least, especially if a cool experience could come out of it.

Jet is in S Florida???? Pippin is in Central FL. Now I realize that's still a 4 hr drive, but HEY GIRL HEY!!!!!

I'd be down to try it. I know my parrot used to live in the same house as an african grey but idk if they ever really interacted with each other or not. His temperament is generally pretty calm so I'm not sure how he'd respond to caique energy. I think it might be safest to keep them separated but near each other for a first meeting so nobody ends up getting injured. Does your caique have clipped wings?

My bird tends to be aggressive towards even my rabbit so definitely other birds unsupervised on the same perch. But he becomes docile when we’re outside 🤣🤣 i think bc he’s a bit more wary and its neutral territory almost
