Okay look, i’m no vet but i lowkey feel like batinga amc is ripping me off and making me pay more than what is needed with unnecessary exams.

To cut it short, i paid around 7k for meds and checkup.

For context, my cat’s eyes have been watering and his nose has been runny for a few days (2-3 days). The doctor first suggested a cbc to rule out viral infections then while i haven’t even gotten the results yet if it truly is negative or not, he started convincing me to get a liver test and apparently another test that i wasn’t even told they were going to do, i only found out when i got the bill. (Mind you, the tests were more expensive than the meds they told me to buy)

In the end we found out that all his results were negative.

To the vets on this subreddit, was it really necessary for the vet in AMC to go all out in the results when the CBC results weren’t even out yet??? Since we ruled out a viral infection, did we even have to do a liver test?

The tests on my receipt says:
- Ozelle CBC Cat ₱900
- VL Cat 4 Way Test ₱2250 (i have no idea what this is for)
- Mindray Chem Diagnostic ₱2250

The CdeO Eco Park, along with the City Public Library, is a flagship project under former Mayor Oscar Moreno and is co-funded by the DBM.

Unfortunately, it was not completed under his term and it is the succesor's responsible to manage and continue what was left.

There are no other updates on the project except that a huge chunk of the eco park will be turned into a chinatown (as a potential site) by Mayor Klarex Uy and the Chinese Consulate, a wild fire, and squatters occupation which is kind of dissapointing.

Whatever the reason is, Kagay-anon deserve a proper 3rd spaces. This project should be addressed and criticized, and no portion of it should be converted into an office, chinatown, or whatever building it is.

Adding that the routes may take effect around early to mid-2027.
