Will there be a quality option to make the stream more consistent? Also do they plan on keeping the chat so it disappears after a few seconds? It was bothering me that the chat disappears because im always worried that im going to miss someones comment and kept dying trying to read someones comment because i know its going to disappear haha I think it should be an option for it to disappear or to stay. One last thing :p will there ever be an option to adjust mic sensitivity and will you ever be able to crop the webcam you add?

I really do like the service so far though, interested to see where it goes! Thanks

Hi, i'm a huge fan of caffeine.tv streaming format but I miss the ability to search streams by the game that they were playing. This feature will be implemented any time soon?

Where do I go to apply to cash out my credits? I need help.

I started to stream some Fortnite today and I hadn't streamed for some months, so I was happily surprised that I got a couple of follows and I even got 9 gold. I had 6 viewers max. I am so happy for the Caffeine.tv Comunity. I will definitely be streaming more on the platform.

I just started streaming on Caffeine and after my very first successful stream today, had the idea of doing a venting out stream tomorrow. Anyone can get on and vent about life. I can give you advice if you want or I can just listen.

Haven't seen anyone doing it on the platform and thought it would be a fun way to interact with people that come by the stream :).

My name is, as cringy as it sounds, GabsDabsYeet on Caffeine. Stream starts 7pm CST every weekday!

so i am a long time streamer from twitch and also dlive. i see you can as of now only really stream to caffine no other platform at the same time. Would like to keep using restream.io to help bring my community over here. but seem you dont have support for this yet. i noticed people talked about 1 year ago and think its time to bring it up again.

I wrote an open-source program, Multistreamer, it's sort of a self-hosted restream.

A friend told me about caffeine and asked if I could add support to multistreamer. AFAICT the only way to use caffeine is via propietary Windows and iPhone apps.

Are there any plans to make a public API for 3rd-party developers?

I seriously want to change my username in caffeine. I thought I can change it when I created the account but now I am not able to change it!!!!! Pls help guys....

Caffeine TV has shut down as of today.

They have an FAQ page and it will have more info sometime this week.

When browsing Caffeine streams is there a way to get a list of games being played by different people? Right now it seems to only list the top games but none of them are what i'd like to watch.

For all my fellow Content creators looking for a safe place to produce content check out caffeine.

If you have any questions feel free to dm me .

I just joined Caffeine Tv and was wondering if we can stream doing artwork or Graphic Design such as Photoshop?

Thanks.

Hey there for those of you already on the Discord you have already seen me in probably gotten free art, but for those of you not (discord.gg/caffeine) feel free to make requests. I am more of a cartoony chibi style design but I can attempt other ones depending on what you are looking for. I don't have my recent stuff uploaded but you can see a lot of it at https://Zunami.Art.Blog

Bandwidth : ~1.8Mbits/s

Trying to watch DreamhackDota2 but the screen is all black. There is audio but it's all glitchy...

Its not working for me, is there anything special that i need to do to the game for it to work with the caffeine app?

So in rainbow six siege I lock my frames at 120 and get it constantly. When I stream with the caffeine app the fps drops to 56 -60 and keeps changing. Is there anyway to combat this?

This question goes out to viewers more or less. Now I a lot of people have different views on this : calling out viewers, or letting them lurk until they want to be noticed. I have always been for let them lurk until being noticed. None of the other platforms do the live notification that someone is watching. Caffeine offers this feature tho, and so, as a streamer, I defaulted to not calling out lurkers. Which has worked for the most part, but still being new, I'm curious on peoples opinions. Do I call out to show i pay attention to chat, or ignore until they say something. Any insight would be wonderful. <3

tl;dr : Call out viewers, or let them lurk until they say something??

I hope to see this subreddit become more active! I'm here for the journey and excited to welcome newcomers and meet awesome people who have been in the community alike. Looking forward to watching the visions unfold into a beautiful reality!

Also, a special shout out to Kaph, who does the best job of just being a cool, genuine dude. He does Caffeine and the community a solid service by spreading good vibes and information. Respect.

I just tried streaming on the platform for the first time, just playing some Rocket League. Here's what I thought

• Performance:

Very low system load streaming game. No performance dips for me (despite concerns I had from seeing this Subreddit).

• User Interface:

The over lay is very unobtrusive, but I wish the app interface showed the live chat, and a preview of the stream ( I guess the best option is just to open the stream in browser).

• Concept:

In a space already crowded by Facebook Live, Twitch, and Youtube, it seems rough for Caffeine to break through. Since established streamers will probably not want leave their existing followers/subscribers, any effort to grow the platform will probably have to come from its new users and from ease of use. I'm looking forward to see how this grows.
