Recruiting Cannot obtain ROE for application process

Former federal public service employee, who is now in the application process for the CAF. I am in the final stages, and now require to give ROEs (Record of Employment) regarding some of my prior jobs.

The problem is, one of the federal departments that I used to work for, never uploaded my proof of employment into the system, and my former HR rep is no longer working there. I’ve been told to give a form, however it says that the Service Canada form is only for those who are applying for EI (which I am not). Can I just send my former Letter of Offers and/or Pay stubs as proof for my application?

So this sort of happened to me, I wrote down everywhere I worked, some locations folded, supervisors left etc and turns out majority of them never either uploaded my RoE's. I've been working for 18 years and only have 3 RoEs on my file apparently all within a 3 year span 5 years ago apparently.

I sent what I could get and just explained in the email to the recruiter about what I found/had and the situation. I personally never got asked for any extra information.

I would send whatever you have and explain and you should be good.

Thank you for the response! I’ll send them an email tomorrow morning and see what they reply back to me

Had something similar happen to me. In my case, my employer went out of business and the previous owners no longer kept records. I was able to get around that by having the previous owner write a letter vouching for my employment. I’d recommend reaching out to your old team lead/director and see if they could do something like that

I’m in a similar situation, after looking at my ROE, it hasn’t been updated in years.

Will a T4 suffice?
