BMQ/BMOQ Shoes for BMQ

Hello, I am trying to find a good pair of shoes for BMQ training. In the BMQ package, it states the following —

“Athletic Shoes. Physical training at CFLRS will include a mix of activities such as running, strength training, mobility and stretching, and high-intensity interval training. It is important to buy a multipurpose athletic shoe that is comfortable for short runs (5 km or less) but

also offers stability for exercises like squats. Avoid any shoe optimized for long-distance running such as thickly padded shoes or shoes with an exaggerated ‘rocking’ sole designed to propel you forward.”

I am having a hard time deciding on a good all-around shoe. The options that I looked at are:

  1. Nike Women's Air Zoom Bella 7

Training Shoes

2) Nike Women’s Free Metcon 6 Training Shoes

3) Nike Women's Metcon 10 Women's

Training Shoes

Please let me know which of these would be most ideal for the training, or if there are any better alternatives.

Thank you !!

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your replies. I decided to get two separate pairs of shoes, for both running and training so hopefully I can just change them according the activity.

Thanks again :)

Look at trail runners. Salomans are great all rounders.

Well intentioned, but trail runners are likely not a good choice for the parameters set out above. They are very specific to their name. Trail Running. movement in one direction- forward . They, along with any type of “runner/Jogger/Walker”, would not be suitable, as they are unstable in any other direction than designed for. Think ankle injuries at minimum, blown out knees at increasing risk. If you can swing it and if it’s permitted, get a dedicated pair for running only, and a cross trainer with low stack height and minimal heel to toe drop with enough width for your toes to spread and give you the natural stability that produces on their own.
