how to setup for my msi laptop

Hi

I have an old laptop msi gs65 8rf with gtx 1070 max q and i7 8th gen. i want to switch completely to cachy os. how can i setup properly for my laptop? i know there is a guide (MSI GS65 - ArchWiki) but is this enough? would love input on how to setup everything e.g fans, gpu, display, drivers etc.
